LThe investigation was started becaues of the report put in a claim by the social services, when the little girls were taken from their families in the last year spring. The arrests was ordered by the judge in Matera: the man is in jail, while the women are in house arrest.

MATERA, 2d april 2009 - Another astonishing case of sexual abuse on children. The victimsa are two little girls of six and seven years old, in a situation of decay and neglicence. The police in Policoro (Italy) has arrested today a retired 61 years old man and two 38 and 29 y.o. women, cousins to each other. The man, who lives together of one of the women, had a relationship with the other too, and he sexually abuses of both of their daughters. The women was in agreement with that and they threaten the children to say nothing. Moreover, the little girls was forced to attend while adults have sex.

Gang Bang
Sadly, this is a still topical comic. It was published in May, 23th 2007 and it was related to a gang rape made by a group of young boys against a girl of same age. Unfortunately, history repeats itself.
RIMINI, february 18th, 2008 - A 15 y.o. girl was raped by 10 boys she considered friends, all underage and from a "good family". The young boyfriend of her is one of them. The news come from a local newspaper in Rimini, where the rape happened.
The newspaper talks about an uncontrollable group who forced the girl to sexual acts against her will, no matter her desperate cry. The victim hidden the horror for a long time, bu at last she told everything to her parents.
The rape goes back to the last summer, and after the investigation, seven boys was already identified: many of them boasted of their "exploits".

Children in chains
The news above, who give the title to this post, was published in 22th may, but the following news are published in these days and they are all about parents, the people who should protect their children.
Berlin, 5th December 2007 - Five brides of children between 5 and 9 years old was found in hous in Darry, not far from Kiel, in the northern Germany. The police added that the mother , 31 years old, was arrested and bring in a mental hospital. No details are known, but the woman is suspected to be the murderer.
Even today, at Plauen, in Saxony (in the eastern Germany), police found the bodies of three babies on a balcony of the house of a 28y.o. woman suspected to be their murderer. She was arrested after the police found the body of a baby hidden in a suitcase. They found another one in a fridge and a third in the balcony. The woman was freed because they have no proof about the first murder. The three babies was born in 2002, 2004 and 2005.
At the end of the last month another woman, 35 years old, was sentenced to 12 years' imprisonment for the murderer of her two babies, whose bodies was held in the fridge of her house in Erfurt (middle-east Germany).

"Professor, how is my daughter getting on?" And he put the pistol on the table

Short memories
The last 16th May, I published this strip about the presumed abuses in a school in Rignano Flaminio. Six monhs later, new impulse to the investigation is coming from the web, after some suspects was freed and a book, "I have seen the black man" by journalist Claudio Cerasa, which tells about this case so complicated and delicate. Thay are still discussing if the abuses are real or if the testimony of the children was manipulated by their alarmist parents. As I fear in my strip, in the meanwhile, people have forgotten. Someone else probably not.

Stop violence against women
Italian ministers Barbara Pollastrini, Alfonso Pecoraro Scanio and Paolo Ferrero will join tomorrow to a march in Rome to stop violence against women. Today, they came in press room with a white ribbon (symbol of fight of violence against women). Sunday, november 25th will be the International Day for the elimination of violence against women.
